1. About Us
We are The Cornish Pantry, a Cornish-owned business selling food, drink, real ales, and spirits, both online and in-store. Our registered address is:

2. Eligibility to Purchase
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase some products from our website. By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
- You are at least 18 years of age
- If purchasing alcohol, you confirm you are over 18 and not purchasing on behalf of someone underage
We reserve the right to request age verification for orders containing alcohol.
3. Products & Availability
We make every effort to describe and display our products accurately. However:
- All products are subject to availability
- We reserve the right to substitute products of equal or greater value if necessary (e.g. in gift hampers)
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT (if applicable)
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout
- We accept payment via major credit/debit cards and secure payment gateways such as PayPal or Stripe
- Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received
5. Delivery
- We deliver throughout the UK. For international orders, please contact us directly
- Standard delivery times are [e.g. 3–5 working days]; delays may occur during peak times or due to external factors
6. Returns & Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your order:
- You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt for a refund (excluding perishable or personalised items)
- To return an item, please contact us at info@thecornishpantry.co.uk
- Items must be unopened, in their original condition, and returned at your cost (unless faulty)
- We will process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
Please note: Returns are not accepted for opened food or drink items unless faulty.
7. Allergens & Food Safety
Allergens are clearly labelled on all food and drink products. It is your responsibility to read labels and ingredient information. Please contact us before ordering if you have specific dietary concerns.
8. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential loss
- Any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our control
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website – including text, logos, images, and product descriptions – is the property of The Cornish Pantry and may not be used without our written consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
